Quarry Tile
Quarry tiles are a manufactured material made from shale, clay, and feldspar and then kiln fired at 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Quarry tile is most commonly seen in the classic deep red color but comes in a variety of colors. Due to its low absorption rate and slip resistance, it is a popular choice for commercial kitchens. Quarry tile is manufactured in a few sizes but the 6×6 size is predominate. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
